Artistry meets wearability!
Katherine Sawyer brings a keen eye and great skill, developed from many years of experience and advanced training, to her hair designs. Katherine began her career at age 19 assisting some of the best hairstylists and colorists in the area and her training includes hair academies in Paris and London as well as being a Framesi certified Master Colorist. Katherine has styled hair for large runway shows, television and video, including ABC Rocks and even a Billy Preston video for his song And Dance.
Katherine owned and operated Dava Dava Hair Salon on Union St for 15 years before deciding to let that go and focus solely on her clients. She has performed at hair shows, taught large styling classes for clients and cutting classes for stylists, and trained her own assistants that went on to open salons of their own. Katherine works exclusively with Framesi and Redken color lines and has developed a unique highlighting technique she calls Double Blonde that gives maximum natural blonde results.
Katherine currently divides her time between San Francisco and Oakland to better serve her Bay Area clientele.

Sundays from 12 and Tuesdays 11:30-7:30
Oakland – Right Angle Salon, 310 Forest St
Wednesdays and Saturdays 11-7
